Look from the view of a wheel....what would you see? The Ultimate 4-in-1 Ferry Bike Food Selfie TourA 4-in-1 Ultimate experience of an excellent relaxation for every traveller coming to Hong Kong. What's better than a bit of biking and less walking to roam around the neighborhood ( I guess you can imagine go out on a tour and you will have to walk all day long, it is quite tiring after all!). Plus, you can get the natural scent of the sea breeze & an outdoor seafood fiesta along the seaside! You couldn't get more than that in half a day! "Getting off the ferry, the first thing we need is a bike." Lets start with how we get there ? Central Pier no. 6Before we start, let's check out how we take the ferry to get there. The Pier is at Central Pier No.6. You can easily get there by getting off at Central MTR station and walk to the Pier. For most updated ferry schedule. You should go nwff.com.hk Let's start off the morning by meeting at the Ferry ( if you prefer our tour service) and feel the sea-breeze, ride along the waves and get to a quiet side of Hong Kong - Mui Woo. It is farms, villages and a back garden for Hong Kongers. Getting off the ferry, the first thing we need is a bike. I guess you never heard Hong Kong people on a bike. But here it is, right off the ferry, you will see thousands of bicycle lining up in front of you because Mui Woo does not allow private vehicles, so bike it is! We will enjoy a local Hong Kong style breakfast at a busy restaurant early in the morning. You should definitely try the Hong Kong styled milk-tea inherited from the times of British aristocracy. You drink the tea and a toast with a bowl of Chinese noodle to start your morning. I guess you can feel my tummy rumbling already. Then we will take time to ride along the beachside, as well as going into villages to meet with our fellow buffalos. They were abandoned as farmers go to the city for a living and leave them reproducing. You can take stylish selfies with stunning backgrounds. I will take you there and you can also ride on the Olympic Trail that goes off to a small waterfall. Don't Forget to Hit " Following" and "See First" Button on Facebook for our updated Stories! the Rainbow school selfieWe will ride our bike all around the island and Let's pop into the public school of Mui Woo. Can you see the Rainbow pattern in this photograph? Top : the sky is blue 2nd layer: then we have the green trees 3rd layer: down below the trees we have the school in light green 4th layer: we have red running tracks final 5th layer: then the yellow playground What if I m hungry....What about food? Then we will return the bicycle and walk over to a crowded traditional seafood restaurant and enjoy an economical seafood set lunch or dishes of our choice! Or you can go back near the Pier, I m good friends with this restaurant. I visited there a couple of times. They cook good local food at a very affordable price. They cook fried rice, fried noodles or even some local homemade dishes. Best of all they got this beer! How about a beer!Gwei-lo beer is made from a local brewery. The translation of Gwei-Lo ( 鬼佬) means " ghost people". Many many years ago, when foreigners don't visit much to this fisherman village Hong Kong , we made up this name because to the old Chinese, they never seen people with green eyes n gold hair and they're all tall. So for them, it has great resemblance of seeing real ghost standing right in front of them. We can then return to Hong Kong island by Ferry and you may continue on your day to experience the busy lives again in Hong Kong. Tour Highlights- Seaside Seafood Lunch - a relaxed biking experience without hardwork. Non-bikers relax at the backseat of a tricycle - an excellent local Hong Kong breakfast of milk tea, toast and Chinese noodle - meet the hardworking buffalos - take interesting selfies that wow everybody - a trip by ferry to experience the seabreeze (or maybe the beautiful sunset) - a special neighborhood with so little traffic, it is a biker haven If you find it interesting, you can also consider to book the tour at Airbnb experience. Pui O Beach"For me it was a hell of a ride, last time I didnt bring enough water, I got into mountain biking which I m not prepared for. " To reach Pui O Beach and the other side of the island, I would recommend you to rent a high-quality mountain bike. There are 2 types of bike we could rent. The mountain bike and the city bike. City bike The city bike is quite affordable at less than HKD 100 for the morning, it has got only 6 speed. It would be quite difficult to use the city bike to climb up the hill to the other side and reach Pui O. If you would rent the city bike, I would recommend you to go easy and just bike around the area without having the need to climb the hills. Mountain bike if you want more fun and challenge yourself. You can go for the mountain bike and ride uphill, then down to reach Pui O beach and the other side of the island. The mountain bike is rather expensive and the rental is about $500 a day. I once tried to ride the city bike uphill, it isn't all impossible but there were several times which I have to get off the bike and start pushing up the hill. Pui O beach is a nice area and there are a couple of good restaurants over there. And going from the trails of the beach and into the woods, you can reach the places of old fisherman villages like the pictures I will show you below. For me it was a hell of a ride, last time I didnt bring enough water, I got into mountain biking which I m not prepared for. There were no trails and I biked literally on the rocks, got cramps, and took a taxi back to the Pier at the end. So i I would really ask you to prepare yourself what you are going for. The day I thought I was a mountain bike heroI bought a white mountain-bike helmet for a thousand Hongkong dollars the day before, thinking I was going to conquer the mountain. You can see my pride and arrogance in this picture ; ) I literally biked on rocks and pebbles for 2-3 hours. I was exhausted. I I hand-carried this heavy bike across this gap over to the other side. This picture was taken after I was a bit lost in the woods (no worry I still had google map, I wasn't very far away and I still have the mood to enjoy the views and take these pictures. Later on the day, I realised I didn't bring enough water and decide to take another route so I could run home earlier....that was quite an embarrassing moment for me. This is what we called amateurs.... I was still trying to go uphill to the "Chi Ma Wan Country Trail" and I reached the reservoir at Lung Mei. After reaching the reservoir, I reached the Chi Ma Wan correctional Institution, this is where I got a cramp. Finally Pui O Beach I was so happy that I finally reached Pui O and because I have got cramps in my legs already. You know what I did? i rode the bike to the taxi stand, bought myself a coke and put the bike in the trunk and call it a day! Nice restaurant right at the side of Pui O beach this shows my trail on my photo album by area. You can see my tracks on the island. That was really fun.

Our family gone to Hong Kong in September, our children (age 17 and 13) both have a sharp intrigued in photography, and it was their to begin with visit to Hong Kong. We went to a town and leased great bicycles to walk around. It was phenomenal to visit the ancient sanctuary, post, the open and private lodging domain, the covered up next to the enormous bridge. It truly killed us for the four-hour and it's beneficial to explore covered up diamonds of Hong Kong. The ride was astounding and you'll see a lot of the day is obvious. The island is small but there's bounty to do. Over-all, a really decent, serene put to visit.

Yes. You are so right and thanks for being the first guest to leave a comment on the post. Can you recall the name of the place that you went? I like to go there and have a look and maybe write a post about it too?
