How did I stop 30 years of masturbation & Jacking-off?

Recently I cured my 30 year masturbation problem. If you are willing to spend time to finish this article. It is only a matter of time you cure yours. My article will sink deep into your memory and when you tried every effort and failed, don’t give up! Your subconscious mind will get to work and dig into every information you have about curing masturbation. If you failed and persist through the failures, you will eventually come to your own masturbation solution.
Note: Forgive me for the repeated use of the word “ masturbation” in all manners. I just want to make sure you find me when you sure masturbate! ( and looking for a solution)

Masturbation at age 12 (Grade 6)

It has been over 30 years I masturbate. I remember I started it when I was grade 6 at age 12. With all these amazing images and action, I couldn’t stop anymore even when there was great guilt and remorse even doubt of my own ability. It is also after I became a Christian, I have great self-doubt, the inner voice that I m a loser and failure kept getting at me. However, masturbation just gives great pleasure, it is a fact.

Countless failure to rid of masturbation

I used all sorts of methods
  • keep myself busy, going bed late so I can sleep in an instant
  • Think about something else - distraction
  • Tell people about it and hope I have support
  • Treat masturbation as a friend instead of an enemy
  • Writing encouraging statement like “ winner never quits, quitter never wins “ checking off each day I do without masturbation.
The urge and pleasure of masturbation just appears in my mind any minute when my thought run free, it is 30 years of practice, it is hard to get rid of. Seeing an attractive woman on the street would immediately get me imagined her being naked. And the urge would come, after I return home, it is going to be a masturbation party.
My subconscious mind ( I have built in the habit) without me knowing, any scan of female image with my eyes, will go directly to those thoughts. It still does, it can’t stop.

​It has been 25 days ( Sep 5,2019) I quit masturbation, it seems permanent, I don’t know but I can feel it.

It was about a year ago I woke up 6:50 so I have a bit more time to do my own affirmations and visualisation.

Affirmation

Affirmation are statements that you like to achieve but you aren’t there yet. By repeating the statement day after day with faith ( it might take up to 60 days), you will get used to it and believe it. So you are able to take the action of achieving it. Here is my statement
I m the leader of the family. I m a determined, persistent, attention to detail, rich and successful property entrepreneur and motivation speaker. I double my income from 60,000 to 120,000 being a property entrepreneur and motivation speaker.
Overtime I believe my own affirmations and I m taking actions towards it. I fulfil my own dream. That is affirmation.

Visualization

Visualisation is a collection of images that you want to achieve. The house you want to live, the car you drive, the character of your person. By visualising it, you remember clearly your goal and work on it relentlessly.

At 6:50, I have time to do affirmation and visualisation but I still want to upgrade myself. I bumped into a book called Miracle morning by Hal Elrod. Probably recommended by Robert Kiyosaki, I cant remember. I search through amazon and found a lot of reviews so I bought it. He talked about the benefit of waking up 5 am posted the challenge.
I remember I was at a state believing that if I want to, I can do it. It is because my previous effort of affirmation and visualisation has given me some degree of success already.

Miracle Morning at 5am

Then I figure out, it is always these self talk, you are good enough...made me stopped long term commitment all the time. So this time, I decided to keep going!
So I just do it. It was Aug 13,2019. I started waking up 5am. It wasn’t difficult for me until it reached day 20. It gets to a point I was able to prove myself already and my self talk say maybe you can stop. Then I figured out, it is always these self talk, you are good enough (or you have done enough proving yourself)...made me stopped long term commitment all the time, so this time, I decided to keep going.

Waking up early stop masturbation

Waking up 5 am - stop masturbation method 1
Waking up 5 am made me sleep at 9-9:30pm. I m too focused on waking up at 5 so I was too busy to masturbate. I usually masturbate on bed before bedtime. I have no time to not sleep now ( waking up at 5 everyday) when I get to bed. And after waking up, I have a whole set of miracle morning routine to do so I never think about masturbating in the morning

Affirmation - I m a proud and righteous person

As I want to stand proud in front of the public to make my speech convincing with no lies. I started telling myself “I m a proud and righteous person”, it is a form of affirmation. If I masturbate, it contradicts with my pride and standing tall in public because this part of you couldnt tell anyone. I want to change that. So I associate myself as a proud and righteous individual with an image of me talking onstage.

The Tony Robbin Method

Then I recall Tony Robbins taught me a method of getting rid of bad habits.

Step 1 Visualise a happy image of yourself ( for me, it is proud and righteous person talking on stage)

Step 2 imagine from afar there is a poor image for me it is masturbation on bed half naked with a filthy moaning look

Step 3 imagine shooting the “happy” you to break the “ masturbating you” into pieces

Step 4 the happy you emerge with a happy family together

Step 5 repeat the same for 5 times daily
After doing these visualised affirmation, I felt like it is a choice whenever I thought about masturbating. Do I want to be a proud and righteous person ? or do I want to be the filthy me ?

Rebuild your intimate relationship

As the urge for sex is normal, what you need is also a healthy intimate relationship.
I wasn’t able to achieve that before because i had a broken relationship with my wife. (link)
I still carry some anger of her because of our differences. I look deep into her and try to understand why she behaves the way she is. I really listened and imagined if I was her. If you would truly try to understand her. There are many things you can do to change in a relation.

*remember: once you change, she will change. It is always you who can act upon the relationship for improvement. You always take charge. Not anyone else.

First of all, pay attention to yourself listen to your thoughts whether “you feel annoyed about her ”or “you want to improve”. You got to make a choice for it to work.

With my desire to be “ a proud and righteous person” and a healthy way to channel my sex drive. It is day 25 since I stopped my masturbation.
